Carrie Lamberson, MS, 500-RYT, YACEP, AIA- & NAHA-Certified Level 1 Aromatherapist

Carrie Lamberson is a clinically trained Yoga Therapist, certified aromatherapist, and founder of Lokahi Holistic Therapy LLC. She specializes in integrative mind-body care for individuals seeking physical resilience, emotional regulation, and holistic support for chronic conditions and daily life stressors. Drawing from over a decade of teaching experience and academic training in psychology, neuroscience, yoga therapy, and aromatherapy, Carrie blends modern science with ancient healing arts to create therapeutic experiences that engage all five senses.

Carrie holds a Master of Science in Yoga Therapy from Maryland University of Integrative Health (in partnership with Notre Dame of Maryland University) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Research Neuroscience from Temple University. She is a 500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (500-RYT) and a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP). She is also a Level 1 Certified Aromatherapist through the Alliance of International Aromatherapists and is currently pursuing Level 2 certification.

Her background includes teaching yoga and aerial yoga across diverse populations—including athletes in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, individuals managing complex health conditions, neuro-divergence and those recovering from trauma or injuries. Prior to launching her private practice, Carrie supported research at the Penn Mental Health AIDS Research Center at the University of Pennsylvania, where her passion for evidence-informed mind-body practices deepened.

In 2023, she launched Lokahi Holistic Therapy to offer custom aerial therapy silks and programing, essential oil formulations, and personalized yoga therapy services. Her approach integrates therapeutic aerial slings, trauma-informed movement, chromotherapy, essential oils, and sound healing to support nervous system regulation, mobility, breathwork, and eudemonic wellbeing.

Now based in Portland, Oregon, Carrie provides services locally and virtually. She offers private yoga therapy sessions, corporate wellness programming, continuing education workshops for yoga teachers, and collaborative opportunities with integrative health professionals.
